The iconic Battersea Power Station,has been brought back to life in the recent years. But I wanted to capture the decommissioned coal power station in its former glory before we all forgot what it stood for. I took inspiration from some vintage photographs, I created this artwork of the massive structure towering over Battersea, London.

But I wanted to capture the decommissioned coal power station in its former glory before we all forgot what it stood for. I took inspiration from some vintage photographs, I created this artwork of the massive structure towering over Battersea, London.
My ‘Places and Spaces Collection’ of art are greatly inspired by my photographs and memories that I have captured while travelling. Some are adaptations of a photographs captured while on holiday, while some are an expression of emotions and memories. I find this to be the most satisfying way of combining (and experimenting with) my fine art and graphic design background along with my love for places and spaces!
