“To walk alone in London is the greatest rest.” ~ Virginia Woolf.

A walk along the South Bank of the Thames is one of my sources of sustenance. I have wandered there though happiness and sadness, through confusion and celebrations. Whenever I need to spend quality time with myself, I tend to take myself to the South Bank.

I had noticed these ’fish’ staring at me on my very first visit there. Later I found out that they could be very stylised dolphins! Some say they are sturgeons. They are on every lamp post along the banks. Whether fish or mammal, I am grateful to these beautifully ugly creatures that have kept me company on my numerous journeys along the river.

The London Collection

“In London, everyone is different, and that means anyone can fit in” ~ Paddington Bear.

Add to that - the streets, the sights, the sounds, the art, the architecture… I feel so lucky to call this wonderful city my home.

London is a walking city - organic and full of unexpected lanes and walkways. I have tried to capture the essence of the city during my walks through sketches and snapshots over time. These have been the inspiration of my London Collection.
