Positively Peacock! In many cultures, the peacock symbolises different aspects of one’s self. It’s significance encompasses vision, spirituality, awakening, integrity, freedom, guidance and protection. Quite the bucket list of positive vibes, bringing a common theme of self-expression and self-love. This was the theme for one of my drawing classes. This has been a new venture during this Covid crisis, and boy have I been blown away by the response! I have said before, this adjustment has been trying for me initially, but this has really kept me going. I have been told that I am a good teacher, but I myself am also learning with each class. This makes me so grateful. We have all needed a bit of ‘peacock’ in our lives lately. A bit of self expression, and a bit of self love. And all the positive vibes that vibrate from ithe majestic bird.
When I was younger and felt a bout of procrastination setting in, this quote by Kabiguru Tagore always snapped me back on track- You can’t cross the sea merely by standing and staring at the water.
